My smile and the numbers sum up this summer that was filled with so many wonderful moments of music and friends. The numbers reflect repetitions and new instances of time spent being who I am with people who resonate with me.

Whether it’s in a drum circle at one of our great Michigan music festivals, in a classroom with students, or teaming up with my disabled crew for a “drums for all” event, Every time I make music with someone, I learn something new.
These lessons you’ve given me have led to more music for more people. My van is full of drums and my heart is full of hope to do more for our community and other communities around the country.
